16th Slovenian Congress on Transport and Transport Infrastructure, which will be held from 23 to 25 October 2024 in the congress center of the Grand Hotel Bernardin in Portorož .

In recent years, due to increasingly frequent natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, hurricane winds, landslides, etc.) or perceptible climate changes, we observe our immediate and distant surroundings with concern. As a result of these changes, various systems that are vital in the production chain are breaking down. Among these threatened systems is the transport system.

The transport system is guided by a transport policy, which indicates the guidelines for the development of transport and transport infrastructure, but at the same time this requires the consensus of a wider group of experts and civil society as well.
